Gotta act like that. Gotta go out there and do something with your life, you know what I’m sayin’? You gotta put in the work, you know? It’s easy to get lazy and not want to do anything but stay at home all day. But when it comes down to it, ain’t nobody gonna give nothing good away for free. So if you’re sitting on a couch watching TV all day – get up off of it! Stop being so lazy and maybe those goals will be closer than ever before!

In the late 70s, Linus Torvalds invented Linux and released it as a free operating system. He started developing his own version of Unix with some friends while at the University of Helsinki in Finland. The project was originally called “Freax” but they eventually settled on calling it “Linux.” They had many goals for this new OS including making access to computers more affordable and decreasing dependence on expensive proprietary software like Microsoft Windows or Mac OS.

The first three years were tough so he went back to school to get his Master’s degree from MIT before finishing up work on Linux. After that, things took off and now there are over 50 million people using Linux every day! It is also used by companies such as Intel, Samsung and Motorola as well as many more.

The first time I saw her, she’s sitting on the steps and smoking a cigarette. It was just something about her that made me want to know more. She didn’t say much- in fact, I think we exchanged two sentences before she walked away with some guy. But it was enough for me to leave my number so I could see her again one day.”

She texts back when I wake up and tell myself not to act like this is anything different than what it really is: A hookup – an afternoon of fun with someone who feels right in my arms…but nothing else. Except maybe that feeling when you’re driving home after meeting somebody new; You can’t stop smiling because the light from outside makes everything seem brighter.
