It’s hard to be a wallflower. I’m not talking about the kind of person who is shy and introverted, but rather that wall you put up in your social life so people don’t get close enough to dance with you. It can feel like no one wants to come near you or have anything to do with you when really it’s just because they’re afraid of what might happen – rejection, embarrassment, getting hurt- and want nothing more than for things to stay the same. Sometimes we are too scared and too stubborn about how things will go if we change that we refuse any offers made by others trying to change our minds.

So next time you’re feeling down about being single and wondering why nobody wants to dance with you…remember these words: “It’s not a lack of people who want to but it’s just too hard for them.” It doesn’t matter what your reason is or if they are good ones because there will always be someone out there waiting for their chance to reach out and save you from this sadness. And when that day comes, never forget how happy those few minutes dancing made them feel as well. Dancing can make us all experience true joy & happiness every now and then even if we only live once on Earth; sharing this moment together makes
